Graduating at Manchester School of Architecture with a BA (Hons), I have acquired a range of skills in which I would like to further develop in practice. During my time at MSA, many group projects had allowed me opportunities to advance my leadership, organisation and communication skills. My three years at the institution have built up my interest in conservation and sustainability in architecture, as well as the early stages of designing. In my final year at MSA I was involved with the atelier INFRA.SPACE. The atelier’s agenda was to build a thick report on the Irish border, in relation to the Brexit outcome. Using the logistics and data collected, the assignment was to design a future factory, providing a seamless and friction-less system across the border. Unlike the smaller projects over the course, Infra.space allowed me to understand the creation of larger scaled buildings and master planning.
