ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Kelly Lui. I am a graduate student from Manchester School of Architecture with a BA(hons) degree. During school I became fascinated with history and art, which naturally led me to become interested in architecture. I particularly enjoy historical architecture, such as churches and castles, as I find that they are embedded with stories and history. I also believe that conservation of these buildings helps sustain a community's culture and past. Through the course I have also begun to understand the importance of sustainability in architecture, and this is reflected in many of my projects at university.
Beyond architecture, I also love cooking. My specialties are Korean jeon pancakes and spicy braised chicken. During the COVID lockdown, I have also taken an interest in gardening, by planting my own vegetables. Besides food I also enjoy reading, my favourite genres include fantasy, Sarah.J.Maas being one of my favourite authors.
